Payment solutions are often complex and proprietary, but PrestaShop Checkout offers a different approach. As an open-source module licensed under the Academic Free License 3.0, it empowers merchants with a seamless, secure, and flexible way to manage transactions within their PrestaShop stores.
This talk will explore how PrestaShop Checkout integrates with online stores, the benefits of PrestaShop's commitment to open source, and how developers as well as merchants can contribute to and extend its capabilities.
Currently working at PrestaShop, I’m a Payment Product Manager. My mission is to focus efforts on improving the payment experience of our merchants, mainly through PrestaShop Checkout. With a solid background in ecommerce, I spent three years at Octopia as a Product Manager specializing in cash out processes and two years at Cdiscount.
PHP backend developer for the last 12 years, I have been learning more and more about this exciting world through my career, while working for different companies. Six years ago, I decided to join PrestaShop, and this opportunity made me discover the CMS ecosystem and the fascinating world of open source. More recently, in the last couple years, I discovered another side of web development, as I started a manager position at PrestaShop, making me discover new skills, challenges and stories.
