Vijayasri Iyer is a Machine Learning Scientist at Pi School, where she has managed multiple international teams in developing AI-powered solutions, focusing on Generative AI and LLMs. An alumna of the Pi School of AI (Q3 2022), she is currently working on EVE, an open-source large language model for Earth Observation and Earth Sciences, in collaboration with the European Space Agency's Φ-lab. She also leads engineering efforts on Trallie, a project funded by the NGI Search consortium, redefining unstructured document search using LLMs.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in IT and a Master’s in AI with Honors from India, Vijayasri has also earned certifications, including the Credentials of Readiness (Harvard Business School Online), Public Policy (specialised in Technology Policy) and AI Safety. Outside of her work in AI, she is a certified yoga instructor and a trained musician.
