In the current technological and political landscape, sustainable funding for open source remains a critical dimension to insure our digital autonomy.

With a small group of practitioners we are pushing the idea of creating an endowment fund called "Librery Fund", designed to support critical or strategic open source initiatives through financial contributions from the tech industry.

This talk will introduce the Librery Fund's main principles making it an original and a complementary tool amongst our european open source ecosystem : a transparent mission, funding mechanisms, and governance.
